I'm So Vain But...

...you really do love me don't you?

  • working hard to start a new home and life together with me..
  • bathing me and putting me to sleep when I'm drunk and emotional
  • getting those cute blue pillows coz I've always hankered after them
  • trying your best to spy on me so you can buy me something I want
  • walking on the outer part of the road
  • opening the door for me
  • always letting me go first
  • always letting me talk first
  • always letting me win
  • no matter how tired you are, you always try to humor me
  • putting toothpaste on my toothbrush long before I enter the bathroom
  • picking up after me
  • running around trying to make things comfortable for me
  • working hard to make my life better, but missing me all the while
  • no matter how hard it is, you always learn new words in my dialect and say it bravely to everyone you meet
  • singing my favourite songs to me, even without knowing the lyrics
  • trying to teach me guitar and helping me out when I forget
  • asking me to play with your beloved NFS cars, even they cost money when I bang them around
  • always covering me with blankets even though I feel hot!
  • kissing my hand coz you know it makes me feel special
  • nuzzling my neck coz you know how tickled-happy I get
  • waiting patiently while I buy shoes, shoes, shoes and more shoes
  • actually giving me proper opinions when I go shopping
  • leaving ciggies for me even though you have none to go to work with
  • charging my phone when the batt is low, coz you know I won't do it til last minute
  • bringing back as many books as you can find, so I won't be bored
  • hugging me to sleep, coz you know I feel safe in your arms
  • patiently carrying me around the pool while I was freaking out due to deep-water phobia just so I'd get over it
  • keeping quiet when you're right and I'm terribly wrong
  • constantly putting lotion on my skin so it won't dry out
  • reminding me to take my medicine everynight - even though it sounds more like scolding than a reminder
  • always leaving food for me esp. if you know it's my fave (except for times in Pin Kee, lol)

I LOVE YOU TOO.

Growl...Growl... Snarl...

I'm so hungry. Should I call in McD? Or shd I walk there? Or should I call someone to have dinner with me. I can't be waiting for IanPenguin to get back. I'll have a fag first then decide.

Just wondering, what's so great about Marie Digby anyways??
I do not think that she's got that great a talent. I think this guy (okaysamurai.com) has way better stuff. Oh well, to the peepeeroom and then ciggies.

Wheee....

Another day, another dime...

Looks like the days are going to fly by, I feel like it's not even college time, coz classes are so short and few and far in between. Lost track of time. Will have to switch to UK timing and then switch back for classes. -_-

To my dismay, I have discovered that, I will no longer have time for booze. All my time will be translated into money, and that's where it stops. No time to spend my money. Which is good. So I can actually start saving up to buy me a place, a nice place. Where I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, however I want. I need that, me finks.

Tonight's another night of induction training, which bores me so. Wish we didn't have to go for it, but getting paid to sit down and listen, this is the calm before the storm, so I guess, well, bear with it la. Later on, we'll be looking super stressed so this is a good time to chillax.

I think, I've gotta go get ready, coz Ian's gonna be back soon. Going to see a house. Haih.
More headaches. More salivating. Whatever.

Oh yeah, and we've been getting stalked by some real estate agent named Don. I mean, if you were serious in selling, you'd actually call us.

This fella pula.... MISCALLS. -_- Got such thing ar???

Busy Cari Pasal...

Currently, my semester only has... hmm.. 3 subjects and these subjects are 3 hours each, so out of ONE week, I have 3 hours in 3 days of classes each. DAMN FREE right?
So, Edexcel is back! I mean, for those of you who don't know... it's the night job in Cyberjaya that I've taken up before, so it's gonna be interesting. Looking forward to the moolah... :D
Other than that, I'm absolutely braindead... nothing blogworthy has happened... well, Nothing actually. Heh. Hope to just get my car lowered and tinted (for now) and of course, when I'm well off (bit more) buy a lovely house!
OH. Reading this month's CLEO really hit me hard. I think, I shall write in to them and share my thoughts. You guys should read this month's issue on the Migrated Urbanite Life (errr.. I don't think it's titled as such, but it's pretty much something like that.. OH SHITE. I'll just get it *ruffles through bag*) It's called: The Metropolitan Fallacy.
It really struck a chord in me.. about how life in the city changes us, and the actual merits of staying in our "sleepy" hometowns.
My thoughts on this:
I did, at some point, think that Penang was a little slow and sleepy, and yet, it didn't hit me, that when I was there, it wasn't at all boring! In fact, my mom keeps scolding me for treating the house as a hotel (aka come back to bathe and sleep only, otherwise, the whole time I'd be out). Now where did I cultivate that high-nose, shopping mall-er KL-itis??
I always complained, saying, KL is all malls and nothing else to do. Actually, it is partially true, as a lot of events are also held at malls. Of course, you have the clubs, the resorts, the back-to-nature places or whatever else place that offers recreation. I know, it's not fair to generalise, I know I'm not a futsal-er, or a gila fishing person, but I find it a tad harder to do all these things here rather than in Penang, where nature is just a step away. Or everywhere else for that matter.
Slowly but surely, I find myself going for a little more expensive brands, (I mean, in Penang, a RM200 top is like, "WHAT?", in KL, it's "cheap/affordable/okay"), I've become a perpetual mall-rat (worse from last time in Penang), I think that a place which is 38km away, is "actually not that far", paying RM5 for a bowl of noodles is "reasonable" and so on so forth. *SIGH*
I'm officially growing very comfortably into this metropolitan skin. I mean, the culture is everywhere that it's hard for a person in say, their 20s, just getting a job that pays fairly well and is quite a social, outgoing person, to NOT notice and feel the pressure.
Just the other time, at a cousin's wedding, another cousin of mine mentioned that, "Hey, generally people in Malaysia don't take an effort with their looks when going out. In New York, it's so different." I mean, just look at Devil Wears Prada. We Malaysians are Anne Hathaway and the Clackers are the New Yorkers. And true enough, Anne Hathaway does fall into that pressure hole (despite the fact she loves carbs and somehow fitted herself into a size 6 in the middle of the show). And it happens to all of us, most of us, out-of-towners that make it here to KL eventually.
All I can say is, it can sound depressing cause this does mean more shallowness, more emphasis on beauty, image and superficial things. I admit, I have given in, more than freely, to this addictive culture. And there's so much more to buy!
It's an interesting subject, this. I shall expound this when I have the right time and frame of mind. Heh. Meanwhile, go read CLEO. It's an eye opener. That article. Really. And see if, "Dia yang makan cili, dia yang rasa pedas" cases happen..
Nights.. :)

Girl's Night Out...

AAHH.... finally, after I think about one year, I met up with YzmaLyn and RexStitch and ETEeMun. I picked the sisters up and we went to Midvalley for dinner.
Chili's had a 45 minute wait, so we decided to go to Finnegan's where we made the staff wait for about 45 minutes. -_-

But, it was a great disappointment... the Pork Snackers had scraggly bits of bacon, the sausages were too dry and the mustard was mixed with wasabi powder! (wtf) I had an Old Speckled Hen, which is absolutely not my thing. Gimme a Guinness or a Paulaner anytime!

After the sleazy waiter finally made us all pissed, by charging us for extra bacon and sausages (on the pretense that, "IT WAS THE LAST PORTION") extra RM24 for baby's shit-pieces of bacon and dry sausage??? NUH-UH. He didn't bother informing us and we did not request for it. So he pulak got pissed and made us feel bad, "Fine, I'll pay for it myself." When everyone kept quiet, I thought, Hey, do something before it gets harder. So muka tebal la, I said, "So how much is our actual bill??" Man... I felt... liberated. Then we left for Eelyn's place, me and Rex shared two bottles of wine, while we all played Pictionary/Charades.

It is damn fun! We kept bringing up the old stories of how many stupid answers we gave, and of course, the stupid actions we did to act out those words. HAHAH... good times, good laughs...

Man, I wish Rex had taken more photos... OOH. Met her new squeeze.. looks like a nice guy! :) Hope things go well.. :) And Congrats Rex, for Daddy Tan's been active... She's getting a new baby sister!! In addition to her cockerspaniel and doberman. Hmmm... /:o

Then, I was super tired and high... Eemun asked me to stay over, but I desperately wanted to go back and sleep naked. Manatau, IanPenguin had to freak out and called everyone umpteen times. I was, by then, already fast asleep, nicely bathed, smelling nice and in Dreamland.

Ian, CHILL. You Drama Queen!!

OH which, by the way, Padan Muka, the fact that you were spied on while bathing at work, by your bapuk admirer. Lol. And in Midvalley, we spotted the feminine-guy who kept flirting with Ian back in my college smoking zone.

He seems to attract them. I wonder why............
